James W. Curran, MD, MPH

Dean of Public Health, Emory University

James W. Curran, MD, MPH, is the James W. Curran Dean of Public Health and professor of epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. He is also Co-Director of the Emory Center for AIDS Research.  Dr. Curran is a member of the National Academy of Medicine (formerly the Institute of Medicine) and previously served as assistant surgeon general at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
